About MyZucoins

I'm Rob and I built the Zucoin and Splitchain systems.

They've taken several years of hard, brutal schedules in what some call "morning-to-next-morning" work.

The end result is a system that's extremely unique, when compared to traditional cryptocurrency and blockchain systems.

This place is a chance to have fun, experiment, expand the potential of the left-field and thoroughly different Zucoin and Splitchain crypto project, while also sharing information.

Bit of background about me—I've built, managed and been helicoptered-in to fix all kinds of systems, in all kinds of industries, during the past couple of decades of software engineering work (back before anybody called it that).

Zucoin originally started out as a solo side contract and gradually became an all-consuming beast, having built up the systems and processes over many years.

These days, the core Zucoin team remains efficient, small, no-nonsense and moves rapidly at its core.

The day-to-day todos involve a tightrope of balancing cutting-edge tech innovation, shifting regulator expectations, coinholders, continuous development, community updates and much more.

MyZucoins was originally created by Pete, the guy leading the Zucoin Support team, back in 2020 as a place for community news, but to kick things along and take it up a notch, Rob (me) jumped in to help in early 2023.

Rob helped out as a content and newsletter editor to double-check certain details and offer bits of advice.

This eventually lead to Rob joining MyZucoins and chipping out here too—all to help the Zucoin ecosystem grow and build a great community.

A brand new MyZucoins launched in March 2023 and has continued to evolve since, featuring highlights of what Zucoin and its Splitchain network can do.

In Nov 2023, Rob took the reigns and Pete decided to refocus on core Zucoin community support efforts, which is totally understandable—working on this takes a ton of extra time.

MyZucoins is an independent platform that offers valuable insights and resources to help other Zucoin holders navigate the complexities of cryptocurrencies and more.

It’s also a place to experiment with different areas of Zucoin, separate from the official roadmap.

An aim is to highlight Zucoin and its underpinning Splitchain network through MyZucoins, as we believe decentralization can lead to a fairer and more transparent exchange of value.

There's also the dissatisfaction with existing blockchain solutions, hence building Splitchain.

MyZucoins will keep the Zucoin community up-to-date with trends and provide insights into the technology behind the Zucoin and Splitchain network.

There are tools for developers, plus fun and useful experiments for everyone, incl businesses here too (in the works).
