When a wallet address is entered, the Splitchain network explorer queries the current public network state for that wallet address and shows the latest settled transaction found for it, including the public amount information available from that latest transaction.

What information is needed?

The third party only needs the wallet address, also called the public key.

They do not need the wallet backup file, the private key, the user's device, or access to the wallet app.

This makes the process suitable for independent verification of public transaction information while keeping sensitive wallet backup data private.

What should not be provided?
