How do I complete a Zucoin peer-to-peer transaction?

A Zucoin peer-to-peer transaction occurs between two Zucoin wallets, with both wallets cryptographically confirming the transfer.

The sender starts the transfer, the receiver accepts it, and the transaction settles only after both sides confirm their part.

Those confirmations work with the Splitchain network, and network validation remains part of the transfer process.

Before you begin

Both people need a Zucoin wallet.

The sender needs the receiver's wallet address or another supported way to share a transfer code with the receiver.

Both people should be ready to complete the transfer, especially if the transfer code has an expiry time.

How the transaction works

  1. The sender opens the Zucoin wallet app and starts a send transaction.

  2. The sender enters the receiver's wallet address, amount, and any pricing or expiry options shown by the wallet.

  3. The sender passes the generated transfer code to the other wallet holder by notification or by the copy and paste method.

  4. The receiver opens or pastes the transfer code in their Zucoin wallet app and confirms the transfer.

  5. After both sides confirm and the wallets validate the transaction, its cryptographic result is cached on the Splitchain network and the wallet records update to reflect the completed transaction.

What to check

Check the receiver's wallet address before sending.

Check the amount and pricing option before sharing the transfer code.

If the transfer remains pending, confirm that the receiver has accepted and confirmed the transfer code.
