Updated developer docs now available for Zucoin integrations

Builders integrating with Zucoin, the Zucoin wallet app, and Splitchain now have clearer developer docs to work from.

The latest updates focus on one of the most useful integration paths available to third-party websites, apps, services, and business systems: pre-formed transfer codes.

Developers can now find clearer examples for JavaScript and PHP, two very mature and popular coding languages on the web, with updated guidance for transfer code expiry, explicit sender selection, transaction messages, and the sender-facing user_share_message field.

The passwordless login docs have also been updated, covering signed wallet authentication data for account, membership, dashboard, and mini app flows.

These docs reference new features and update documentation on existing ones to make things simpler and easier to understand.

They now cover the latest abilities from the Zucoin wallet app v199 update and the recent transaction capability update, including expiry, transfer-code messages, sender-facing instructions, and clearer integration examples.

For teams building on Zucoin and Splitchain, the goal is simple: make integrations easier to understand, easier to test, and easier to connect to real world workflows.

What's been updated?

The updated docs cover the practical details developers need when preparing a Zucoin transfer from an external service. They continue to be updated, so keep on checking back through them.

  • Pre-formed sender transfer codes: Developers can prepare transfer details from a website, app, online store checkout, invoice, booking, reward, or member flow, then let the sender review and confirm the prepared transfer in the Zucoin wallet app

  • Explicit sender support: The docs now explain how to choose between a general sender request and a request tied to a known sender wallet, which is useful for member accounts, seller wallets, marketplace flows, and systems where the sender should not be ambiguous

  • Transfer expiry: Developers can now follow clearer guidance for time-sensitive transfer requests, such as online store checkout windows, quotes, pickup times, event counters, service bookings, or requests that should not stay open after the moment has passed

  • Transaction messages: The docs now make it easier to understand when a short invoice number, order reference, booking note, or support reference should be included as part of the transaction details

  • Sender-facing instructions: The user_share_message field is now explained as sender-facing guidance for the confirmation flow, helping developers show clear next-step instructions without turning that instruction text into the transaction message itself

  • JavaScript and PHP examples: Both examples continue to cover the newer optional fields in two of the most mature and popular web languages, reaching the widest range of software engineers

  • Passwordless login docs: The wallet authentication tutorials have also been refreshed, helping developers quickly and easily use a Zucoin wallet address with signed cryptographic proof to log in to any third-party account, website, portal, dashboard, or mini app

Better examples for web developers

The JavaScript and PHP examples have been updated to show the newer optional fields in the same flow developers already use to create transfer codes.

Approaches are designed around common web technologies instead of requiring developers to learn an unusual smart contract language or rebuild a whole crypto system just to add a useful transfer flow.

Where developers should start

The main developer docs page is available here: Developer docs.

Use the JavaScript version when a browser page, client-side app prepares the transfer code, or a node.js compatible backend is used.

Use the PHP version when a backend service, member system, online store checkout, marketplace, or account dashboard prepares the transfer code before showing it to the user.

For account login, mini app, and dashboard flows, the developer docs page links through to passwordless authentication docs that explain how a service can verify signed wallet authentication data from the Zucoin wallet app.
