Zutopia Progress Update
Good morning Zucoins Holders,
We are excited to update you on Zutopia's progress.
Over the past few weeks, our teams have been designing and developing the final key features, components, and support tools for Zutopia's upcoming release.
Currently, three rounds of testing remain before we can officially release Zutopia to the public.
Our core objective remains unchanged. The dev team and testers want to complete these last three rounds by the end of June 2024.
In order to closely monitor the live interaction between the Zucoins and Zutopia apps, we have now duplicated the Zucoins / Splitchain network to create a “Sandbox” which can isolate these significant tests.
This way, no real Zucoins can ever be lost.
In the Sandbox, we have allocated 30 testers a minuscule fraction of a Zucoin. This 0.00025 fraction of a Zucoin ensures that we can fully test fractional transfers during round 3.
Round 1: Zutopia / Zucoins Wallet Verification
Zutopia requires each user's Zucoins wallet to allow them to trade on Zutopia.
Importantly at no point does Zutopia hold your Zucoins or any funds, we only require your Zucoins wallet address as a reference.
In a transaction, the wallet address and the value of Zucoins being transferred are sent to the Zucoins app to facilitate the transfer process.
If the wallet address is wrong, the transfer will fail, resulting in a poor user experience for both parties involved in the trade.
Over the past week, a smaller group of testers has been testing the process to verify their wallets with Zutopia.
Based on their valuable feedback, we've implemented several enhancements to streamline the user experience and make it as intuitive as possible.
These changes will be published later today, allowing the testers time to test the updates over the weekend.
Pending positive results, this round of testing will conclude early next week.
Importantly, by using this unique digital signature verification of Zucoin wallets, Zutopia never stores any private or confidential information.
Further, when it comes to using your credit or debit cards, only Stripe retains sensitive data to satisfy its KYC/AML obligations. Again, Zutopia doesn’t retain any such data.
Our mission is to only provide a hosting service where buyers and sellers can post orders and then directly interact with each other offline.
As far as we are aware, this type of P2P Marketplace doesn’t exist anywhere in the world. Much like the Zucoin/Splitchain network.
Round 2: Partial Fulfilment Testing
Next week, we'll be inviting an additional 250+ testers to evaluate the partial fulfillment feature of Zutopia.
This feature allows users to buy or sell fractions of Zucoins listed on Zutopia.
It provides greater flexibility when it comes to buying or selling small numbers of Zucoins.
For instance, if an order shows that there are 100 Zucoins for sale, then any buyer may purchase a fraction of that order if the seller has agreed to accept a partial sale when the order was created.
Round 3: Zucoins “Sandbox” Network Testing
Immediately after Round 2, our 30 testers will then proceed to conduct live tests in the Zucoins “Sandbox” network.
This simply means that our testers will undergo a rigorous transaction performance test using their 0.00025 fractions of a Zucoin. They will be able to conduct these tests knowing that they can’t lose any real and valuable Zucoins.
Payments will be made via the Stripe “Sandbox” test network to ensure that all components are harmoniously working together.
This round of testing is crucial if Zutopia is to avoid potential millions of support queries.
Under no circumstances is it Zutopia’s intention to operate a support desk.
Zutopia is only a hosted platform. Hence, our objective remains the same as the Zucoins app: simplify everything as much as technically possible for millions of users.
Achieving this objective has not been easy. It takes a lot of dev time and testing.
Once these rounds of testing are successfully completed, Zutopia will be primed for an official launch that will be strongly supported over several months by our global mass marketing campaign.
Tutorial Videos And Support
The Zutopia support team has also been busy behind the scenes creating intuitive tutorial videos and support pages for Zutopia.
These videos and supporting documentation clearly show all features of Zutopia.
All Zucoin holders must take the time to learn from these videos and documents.
If you don’t, then expect to be left behind when it comes to buying or selling your Zucoins.
Zutopia has no intention of providing a support desk.
When dealing with a crypto decentralized network like Zucoins/Splitchain, each and every user takes personal responsibility for their Zucoins and interaction with other peers
Zutopia is modelled on that philosophy.
