What's Inside Zucoin's v188 Release Of The Zucoin Wallet App?

This update brings the Zucoin wallet app into alignment with a wave of improvements made to the bulk processing of transfer codes.

It completes the phase 3 set of changes, affecting compatibility between Zubot, the bulk transfer coordination tool, and the Zucoin wallet app.

The two types of systems are designed to communicate with each other, which is an important area for integrations with third-party merchants and other websites.

In this Zucoin wallet app v188 release, much of the app has been brought up to matching specs, with internal code changes totaling 948 additions and 811 deletions.

Zubot's bulk transfer processing system has seen widespread upgrades to support expanded transfer codes in recent weeks, affecting thousands of lines of code.

It's a hefty undertaking as Zubot, which is designed to run on backend servers handling higher volumes of simultaneous transfers, has no user interface, unlike the app.

Phase 1 of the transfer code rollout affected initial backward operability for the planned capability expansion.

Phase 2 added expanded transfer codes, allowing vendors and merchants to automate and customize sender processes, even allowing them to add customizable, temporary messages before the start of a transaction.

This handy and versatile feature can be used to provide instructions or extra details about the transaction before it begins, shown within the Zucoin wallet app itself.
